Adult Handler (AKC) Canine Good Citizen Train & Test
For good dogs 6 months & older!
(If your dog is not yet comfortable around unfamiliar dogs or humans please consider enrolling your dog in a foundational group dog learning & training class, private training lessons, or contact us for further guidance!)
A (6) week small group class learning environment for your good dog 6 months of age and older specifically created to nurture the dog’s physical, emotional, & social development as they learn how to safely navigate the world alongside their human family members through mastering the American Kennel Club (AKC) Canine Good Citizen (CGC) 10-skill test.
Option to test for the CGC title is available for an additional cost of $20 to cover processing fees.
*Completion of this 6-week class program (attending ALL 6 sessions) secures the option to attend drop-in practice classes held weekly focusing on one of ten CGC test skills.
All of our programs guide owners in discovering their dog's highest potential as a happy, healthy, confident canine at home and on the go!
Please select the start date of the 6-week session you are interested in attending to reserve your classes. An invoice requesting payment will be sent a few days prior to the start of class to ensure your placement.
Classes are held in a country setting, indoors and outdoors.
There are no public bathrooms for humans on site but plans to install one are in the works!
