Mission

To heal & empower the spirited lives of humans through the compassionate presence of dogs.

Vision

Recognition and support for Animal-Assisted Interventions to be invited as a partner in traditional medical practices for human health and wellness and that all animals are seen for their unbiased, natural support they provide humans in the healing process.

Our Story

,My sister and I grew up rescuing all kinds of species of animals, to include the species of humans.  We lived next to a small park that was filled with wildlife, predators and prey animals, which usually meant the death or near-death of birds, rabbits, squirrels but also companion animals, such as cats and dogs, that would accidentally escape the comforts of their human's home. Needless to say, my sister and I stayed busy growing up (with the loving support of our mother who assisted on many transports to the humane society) and little did we know it would have a huge impact on the careers we chose.  My sister became a Veterinarian and I, a Registered Nurse.  It wasn't just through saving animals that we came to realize the power of the human-animal bond; it was the animals that saved us.

With our combined knowledge of caring for and treating various species, we built an Animal-Assisted Intervention Practice so that both humans and dogs could work together to heal and be well.  We also wanted to build a setting that was beneficial for everyone to work in---a spacious, heated countryside barn where dogs and humans could move freely, without leashes or the confines of a small sitting room.

 Come. Stay. Heal.

This space is for you--and the dogs that love you unconditionally.
